Apparently, as reported Odditycentral, Friday (11/23/2012), the word is there. This word is the name for a chemical compoundwhich is a protein in the human body.
The compound is encoded by a gene with a short name Titin TTN.Titin is the full name of the letter along with 189 thousand. InWikipedia, the compound is written in the shortened form"Methionylthreonylthreonylglutaminylarginyl ... isoleucine". Not surprisingly, when it took 3.5 hours to recite.
Because of its length, none of the dictionary that contains the word.English dictionary contains only abbreviations and formulas of these compounds.
Why is the length?
Titin word consists of 244 separate elements with the largest exonnumbers, ie 363. Titin name itself is taken from the Greek godnamed Titan who is believed to have great power.
